The answer is unsurprising.
WAY More Scientific
You have: 92% SCIENTIFIC INTUITION and 55% EMOTIONAL INTUITION |
| The graph on the right represents your place in Intuition 2-Space. As you can see, you scored about average on emotional intuition and super high on scientific intuition.Keep in mind that very few people score high on both! In effect, you can compare your two intuition scores with each other to learn what kind of intuition you're best at. Your scientific intuition is stronger than your emotional intuition. |
|
Your Emotional Intuition score is a measure of how well you understand people, especially their unspoken needs and sympathies. A high score score usually indicates social grace and persuasiveness. A low score usually means you're good at Quake.
Your Scientific Intuition score tells you how in tune you are with the world around you; how well you understand your physical and intellectual environment. People with high scores here are apt to succeed in business and, of course, the sciences. | |
|
My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
|
You scored higher than 99% on Scientific |
|
You scored higher than 0% on Interpersonal |
|
However, if anyone has scored really well on the emotional intuition, I would be *really* interested to know how you 'intuited' information from the pictures. I mean, they were just *pictures*. How could you tell *anything* from them?

Um, well, f'r instance - on the "which girl is the non-religious non-virgin" picture two of them were wearing crucifixes...
I dunno!
In all seriousness...
Re: In all seriousness...
I blame the fact that it was before 8am :)

Y'see, I didn't notice that at all! Although I suspect that could also be because I don't really see "wearing a crucifix" as actually indicating a genuine affiliation to the Christian religion. I've known *way* too many non-virgins wearing crucifixes :-)

never noticed the crucifixes. but heck, i dont know my emotional score was bollocks... im obviously insenstitive and stupid!

I think that because social skills aren't taught in the same way as maths and science skills, people who are naturally good at emotional stuff aren't consciously aware of what they do, so it's harder to explain to the people who aren't aware of the behaviour rules.

Not at all. Sounds like an interesting read though. I'll add it to the *ahem* somewhat long "books to read" list...

Hmmm, I can see that. I suppose this leads on to the thought "can I be arsed to acquire this skill." Simplistically, I suspect not.

Heh, yeh, I suppose you're right. I suspect what I'm thinking is that it took "a lifetime" of work to get to 92% on the Scientific scale. I'm not sure I have the *time* to get to that on the Emotional scale too! :-)
Still, there's no harm in upping my score by a few points (as it were) is there? I can probably manage that, fellow carbon-based life form.

[I saw Chris Stamp last week at the Sisters gig and he referred to you as "Zog". Gods, but I haven't heard you called that in a rather large number of years!]

I suppose what bothers me is that there was clearly a 'correct' answer to some of the picture questions that (in theory) could be worked out from analysing the picture. I just wouldn't have the first idea about this. Strange...

Once everyone has played with this, I might ask some questions of people about the emotional pictures. I would be interested to hear their answers.

the opposute "how can you ossibly 'intuit' scientific stuff ???!!" The
very nature of scienece is that it cant be 'sensed' like that - either
you have an idea of the answer due to some facts you know, or you don't.
Pictures convey a lot more detail about the people because you can put
yourself in their places.
So, interestingly, I got a low sceintific score and highish empathic score.
More Emotional

Maybe this is just a semantic issue. Perhaps if we used the words "extrapolate accurately" for the scientific intuition it might make more sense.
Jus call me Troi
I noticed the crucifixes but the middle girl just had that glint in her eye ;)

You know, that's *exactly* what Trash said when I got her to do this test...
