Actually, there's possibly an interesting Star Trek plot here concerning Kirk travelling back in time to save the Earth and shagging Steer's grandmother while he's there ... although that doesn't explain why he looks like Lieutenant Leslie, does it? Ah well.

I think it's a trick of the light. Neither of them seem particularly over endowed in forehead. steer's hairline hasn't receded like *ahem* most thirtysomething men I know, so he has *less* forehead than I'm generally used to seeing.

Funnily enough, I was talking to rosamicula who confessed to having certain feelings about Mr. Spock. She was rather curious to see the "planet of the Nazis" episode -- if I find that the tape has worn through from overplaying I will be cross. :-)

Um, I think 'hero' is stretching it a little! You're now at least a "science fiction background character" :-)
You could practice saying things like "confirmed, Captain" or "aye aye sir" in case you're ever called up upon to man the helm and push the odd button or two whilst the Big Boys save the universe.
