Well, the cough took a turn for the worse so Trash took her to the doctor's today. Evie was wheezing rather a lot, and Trash and the doctor decided she needed admitting to York District Hospital. I was over in Leeds at work, but Trash called me and I hopped on the train and came back, and we took Evie up to the hospital. They tested her for Bronchiolitis by sucking some mucous out of her nose and sending it off for testing. The results were positive and they're keeping her in for a couple of days (at least) to ride out the virus. Trash is staying with her in the hospital tonight - I'm back at home and off now to get as much quality sleep as I can. It's not *that* serious, but the poor little thing has been grumpy and unhappy for the last couple of days. She coughs all the time and can't eat much at the moment. However, she's now in the right place if they decide they need to stick tubes in her to feed her or give her oxygen to help her breath. She's got plenty of spare body fat she can call on if required :-) I suspect we're just in for a grim few days before she starts to recover.
So I doubt I'll be out for any kind of social event for the next few days! Have a good birthday meal
john_hat, and I hope Batfink and The Body Electric go well.
Hospitals also don't like you using mobile phones, so I can't even use my P800. This means I'll be pretty much offline for the next few days. I'll update as soon as I can.
