Organised people who want to see my in the Bishopthorpe village panto this year (I'm the villainous Abanazer [boo! hiss!] in Aladdin) should note that the performances run from Wednesday 8 to Saturday 11 December. Tickets won't be on sale for weeks yet, but those are the dates for your diaries. I'll put a message up again nearer ticket sale time.

But of course! Audience participation is positively encouraged. You will have ample chances to boo, hiss, say "oh no it isn't/oh yes it is" and "it's behind you!"

*giggle* that was last year - Abanazar has an entirely different approach to boo-management :-)

I must have told you this story?

Possibly. I can't recall it though... If you don't feel like typing it in just tell me next time you see me. I suspect we'll need stories to tell on the long bus rides this coming weekend!

It was at Keele, it was disastrous, I was the narrator and I went out with the genie of the lamp who wore pink harem pants and a spangly waistcoat.

We sound like a pair of medieval bards! "Gather round, ye peasants, and Mistress Malaise and Master Petrol will entertain ye with tales of daring and songs of doom."

I always used to enjoy providing/co-ordinating in-coach entertainment on school trips actually. Does this mean we're going to make a dash for the back seats and throw crisps and polos at everyone and pull faces at people in the cars behind us?Canwecanwe? ;-)
I really didn't find the idea of a coach trip at all enticing when I first heard about it but I am beginning to get excited now!

Well, I did just that on the Orange coach trip to a corporate event in London a few months ago, so I don't see why not! :-) I remember ages ago reading that "you know you're old when you don't try and get the back seats on a coach." [To be fair, I've always gone for them 'cos I'm *tall*, and they're usually next to an emergency exit and hence have more legroom.] I'll have a huge bag of boiled sweets to combat motion sickness with.

That's my excuse too. The fact that I'm currently in my second adolescence (assuming I ever left the first one... I did do grown up things for a while when I was about 24) has got nothing whatsoever to do with it. ;-)
