There's a bit of a geomagnetic storm raging at the moment, so there's a distinct possibility the Northern Lights may be visible in the UK tonight. If you're interested, keep an eye on:

If there are still lots of jagged lines and red bars at midnight tonight, it's probably worth going somewhere dark and looking to the North. More on this at:

Sadly, I think the forecast is for cloud across Yorkshire tonight :-(

The only time I saw the Northern Lights when I was in Finland was from the plane on the way home - thanks to the cloud during the week. It was very impressive though.

Bloody typical we get the chance to see the Northern Lights and what's the forecast cloudy. It reminds me of when the Leonids were visible, did we see them even though we were out most of the night, NO we didn't why because of the cloud cover. BAH
