Well it's one of those incidents where you probably had to be there to find it funny - I was sat at a table in the Spa with half a dozen girls and they were all very well endowed and wearing skimpy corsets... but hadn't actually noticed (yeah, it sounds strange - maybe it's like snow blindness). When I did finally notice it was sudden and unexpected, resulting in my leaping in the air and exclaiming loudly. We later agreed that there should be a cleavage table reunion at every future Whitby, but sadly I couldn't recall who they were (Sheffgoths I think).

Ah, I see... I was thinking it was some form of *league* table, where points were awarded for such things as size, decoration, artistic merit, etc. Although maybe that's a kind of infamous table we could start *next* Whitby :-)

Bloody Hell! I thought I was going to come back to a carefully worded essay about valid alternative spellings, noting such things as that in the 1616 quarto edition of Marlowe's The Tragicall History of the Life and Death of Doctor Faustus it was spelt 'Mephistophilis'.

I'm feeling most relieved :-)
