Spare Sisters of Mercy ticket

Logistical issues mean I've got a spare ticket for the gig in Leeds on Thursday evening (17th), if anyone wants it. The ticket has £25 on the face of it (although I think I paid something like £4_000_000 in booking fees), but make me an offer and we'll see what we can do.

Ancient affection for LJ means I'm posting it here first. And yes, I realise some of you would want *me* to pay *you* to watch the Sisters of Mercy :-P

I've got a WI meeting that evening but I'm also kind of tempted simply because I've never actually seen the Sisters live. I suspect though that I'd be horribly disappointed......

If you went expecting a bunch of gloomy goths with big hair in frilly shirts and dodgy trousers then you would extremely disappointed! As their web site states, they're a rock and roll band. I like their current incarnation, but they're not really anything like the band they were in the 1980s.

I'm not totally fussed about seeing them, but if no one else wants to pay you then I could take your ticket off you for £0. I don't mean to be cheeky, just letting you know if it was going to be unused then I would at least make use of it.

Heh - I'll keep you in mind. I suspect everyone who really wants to go to the SoM 30th anniversary gig bought their ticket months ago, so yours could well end up being the best offer I'll get!
