My ancient "ink on paper" English dictionary does list 'extravert' as a valid variant spelling of 'extrovert'. Perhaps this is a US/UK thing? www.dictionary.com lists 'extravert', but we know not to trust naughty colonial things like that! :-)
The searchable Compact OED at http://www.askoxford.com/dictionaries/ does *not* list it as a variant spelling, but does note that 'extro' is a variant of 'extra'.
Ah, but precise spelling interests me, and I have various dictionary URLs bookmarked. It was only two links and consulting a book (which sits behind me at the desk).
Ah, but with Myers-Briggs, introverted and extroverted don't have the 'classic' meanings. These personality tests can be a bit limited - did they give you a full breakdown?
Well, there's a big description of what that particular MB type is supposed to be like, which Trash agreed with. I don't think we're either of this considering this particularly seriously, but I've always been interested to know which type she came out as. I knew she would be an 'I'.

Hope that helps!
