Tour de France
When I started work at what was Press Association New Media in 2000, the manager of the programmers said something like "one thing about working here - you'll end up learning lots about sports you hate."
Now, I don't particularly hate cycle racing (that honour I reserve for golf), but I would rather use those braincells for something else. I now know several thousand times more about the Tour de France than I did a week ago, when all I probably knew was "some blokes race around France on bicycles, and there are drugs scandals. Ooh, and someone gets to wear a yellow jersey - I think it's the leader."
Anyway, the code and docs are written. I'm rolling it out live tomorrow and then going on holiday. I come back after the event has started, just possibly to the odd error email or two.
And yes, I have listened to the Kraftwerk song whilst writing Tour de France code! :-)

Have fun whilst you're away and hope there is no drama and what have you and hopefully we will have lunch on your return and my Mum's return to Jersey.
