The Crüxshadows...
... were great last night! Dancing girls, a lead singer wandering around the audience, "Happy Birthday Dear Trish" and jumping on the stage for the last song. Lots of fun!
I even recorded a few video fragments, and uploaded my first ever videos to youtube:

[Mobile phone camera so *ahem* not the best quality.]
The Japanese support band were good too. I always like loud Japanese bands. It makes me feel like a character in a cyberpunk novel. Somewhere behind me Case is making a deal with a Yakuza representative to shift some dodgy hot software out to a rogue zaibatsu. Plus, they covered Enola Gay...

And... did I mention I have a signed British 1st edition of Neuromancer? *rubs hands together in glee* If you like, you can come round and caress it! lol I still have to re-read it every couple of years.

Oooh, nice! I've only got a few signed books, but they're all quite nice:
A copy of The Observer Book of Manned Spaceflight - signed by Jim Irwin (commander of Apollo 15).
A comic signed by Alan Moore (we're not worthy).
A book signed by Steven Baxter, where I got him to write the *incredibly* space-travel-nerd comment "Press to MECO", which he laughed at lots.
I don't have a signed Pratchett, which is probably pretty unusual, but I do have a card he sent me for my wedding!

I'm impressed by your signed books. What's 'MECO'? I feel horribly ignorant. ;-)
How come you got a wedding card from Mr Pratchett? *boggle*

I've never met him, but I got married in the village where he lived at that time (he may still be there). Trash's dad popped down to see him and asked him to sign a wedding card for me, which he happily did. I can still remember Graeme reading it out at the reception: "congratulations on your marriage, from Terry ... PRATCHETT!!!!!"

To be honest I wouldn't want to see them in a small venue as I know he goes into the audience - it totally freaks me out when bands do that - when they come up to you and start singing in your face - what the **** is the behavioural precedent for that? What do you you??

The Cockpit in Leeds - quite a small venue.

As I'm not a cute goth girl, this doesn't usually happen ;-)
I usually have to resist the urge to upstage the singer, 'cos I'm a bit of an actor myself. As it's *there* gig I usually just grin happily and dance along with them.
