Back from Darkest Cumbria
I've survived the near-constant rain of the last week, and I'm now happily sat back in front of my main computer. Mmmm. Broadband. CentreParcs was fun - possibly more on this later.
I like cities. Driving across the hills on the A66, where there are posts next to the road so that you can tell where it is when it's covered in snow, does not make me want to "get away from it all." It makes me go "argh - take me somewhere with paved streets and kebab shops."
Unsurprisingly, the plumber has *not* finished the bathroom whilst we were away. I can hear him drilling and sawing things now...
