Shortly after the Near Meth Experience gig at Joseph's Well I saw somebody else at the same venue who covered Anaconda. It was quite spooky thinking "I saw this played here a few weeks ago in *very* different circumstances."
The instrumental which is sometimes called Snub Nose but goes through a variety of other names is great fun
It is indeed. I think it's called "Top Nite Out" now. Which it seems some people think is breaking the Trade Descriptions act somewhat :-)

Top Nite Out is another name for it yeah. I really enjoy it anyway and it gets people moving every time!

Er, a silly amount of smoke has been fundamental to Sisters gigs since the mid-80s. Although I do think there was perhaps a _leetle_ too much at this gig. It's not the worst I've been too for it - there was a Rock City gig a few years back where I hardly saw the band at all.
hardly any classics
Ah, but what is a "classic"? Why should Mr Eldritch play songs from long ago that many people like? Perhaps he doesn't? Just because a song from the 80s is popular in goth clubs, why should he care? He's doing his own thing, as an artist, in 2006.
However, it's clear that what Mr Eldritch does in 2006 doesn't suit what
You can always go and see The Sisters of Murphy instead! ;-)

Or lots of other people looking at the general concensus of opinion on LJ.
And you admit that there was a leetle too much smoke? Have a word with your mate then. He doesn't appear to understand!
I haven't seen the Sisters of Murphy but I hear they are much better than the real thing.
