(no subject)

I've been a bit unsociable and out-of-touch for the last week. evie_petrol had a *very* nasty cough, which kept her up a lot at night (and hence kept me up too). This meant my life for the last week mostly consisted of (a) work, (b) taking care of Evie and (c) sleeping when I could, so I have nothing remotely interesting to update LJ with.
She's a lot better now (she slept through the last two nights) so I'm a lot better too. I thought we were through with colds and coughs with the warm weather, so I hope that's the last one till winter comes.

Your Favourite Film?

I can rarely watch a film all the way through in one sitting these days, but it's nice to have a DVD in or near the player that I can watch in half hour chunks when I get the chance. But I was wondering what to watch. So, in the great tradition of LJ, please recommend me a film. It can be pretty much anything, apart from musicals, which I really don't get on with. Oh, and not SF or World War 2, as I've probably seen every one of those in existence already, and I can probably quote you lines of dialogue from them too :-)
