Every vote counts...
Although I say I live in York, I'm actually just South of the ring road, and hence in the far more rural (and traditionally Conservative) constituency of Selby:

Labour returned with a reduced majority of only 467.
I always have to vote. A while ago I had a curious dream: rank after rank of the ghosts of every dead soldier from the beaches of Dunkirk and Normandy was stood, silently glaring at me for contemplating not voting. That was enough to convince me.
