Pantomime

Panto tickets will be going on general sale soon, but are available to cast members for a week or so beforehand. So now is the time to let me know if you want to see me in "Dracula The Pantomime" (as Dracula - "I'm the star of the show"). Dates I can easily pre-buy tickets for are Wednesday 10 December to Friday 12 December and the matinee performance on Saturday 13 December. The venue is The Village Hall in Bishopthorpe (York). There is an "adults only" evening performance on Saturday. The show is always a sellout, and we politely request that 'local' people who can make a weekday evening do so then, leaving Saturday evening for those that have to travel longer distances. If you want Saturday evening tickets, they have to be bought in person from The Ebor (Bishopthorpe) on Sunday November 16 from 11.30 AM onwards. I'll be buying *some* tickets for the Saturday show for my family (not sure how many yet), but if I've any left in my allocation I could buy them for others. IIRC, it's £4.50 or £5 a ticket - something like that.

Apparently, I will be 'singing', so some form of ear protection may be useful. I had best learn my lines, too. Oh, and if you attend you have to go next door to The Ebor afterwards, and have a pint waiting for me when I get round. It's thirsty work, this acting lark!

EDIT: probably worth people stating which nights are good/bad for them. We may well have "the night when all Vin's dubious friends show up". Note that it's not impossible you will be in the audience with the Archbishop of York... :-)
